Progress

I put down the checkers and moved up to chess,
It's interesting how new moves, make you forget old stress,
I will continue to live in peace so that I can remain blessed,
With nothing to prove, I just do a lot more and say a lot less.
I'm built for hard times, stay ready to take on the next test,
I learn from my lessons, this way I will always progress.
